Who I Am
I am from technology
From phone and computers
I am from the bean bags in the basement,
Comfortable, relaxing, and felt like heaven
I am from a maple tree
Were I broke my arm falling off
I am from hiding matzo and being short
I am From Amy and Jon
I am from the talking a lot and always eating healthy
From wash your hands and put your hand sanitizer
I’m from Latkes and going to Congregation B’nai Israel
I’m from Pascack Valley Hospital were I could not breath
wurst, Rouladin, and Belgium chocolate
From the escaping the Nazis in Belgium
The Korean war were my grandpa was stationed
Memories of pictures in frames and books all over my house and in my heart
A picture of my great grandpa hangs in my living room were he died in the holocaust
Seeing the burial of a brave person who I never got to meet
His soul would still live with us and will never be forgotten.
