You're ugly,
that's what the girl whispered
And yes, she listened to her
No one would like such hideous face
You can't,
that's what the girl said
And yes, she believed her
So she left all her talents hidden
You're worthless!
That's what she shouted
And yes, the voice rang in her ears
Tears came running from her eyes as she stared at the girl in front of her
Yes, she answered,
Yes, I'm ugly. Yes, I can't.
She felt the lingering pain from her wrist,
and looked at the dagger filled with blood
It's all done. It will finally end,
the girl in the mirror uttered.
