My wonderful mother
God made her smile from a ray
of resplendent sunlight
Her heart from the purest gold
God made her love more abundant
than the stars that adorn the sky
She is a radiant light, a wise soul
a gentle guide, a loving embrace
My supporter, protector, and friend
God made her kind, selfless
A perfect gift to her child
An angel sent to earth
She is and always will be
My wonderful mother
