A Time Like This

Nights like these I hate
Where my leg shakes
When my chest aches
Nights I can't take
Moments like now make something sweet foul
Makes the ticking sound in my head go POW
Takes me up
Just to let me down
The pill bottle by my side
Is suppose to be a light
Suppose to be a guide
Something to hang onto tight
The tissues in my hand
Are signs telling me to take a stand
To be a women
To stop walking with my problem
And dance!
But these tears
These tears here
Are just liquid forms of my fears
