Your soul is not a single shade
You’re sunshine bright
And grassy green
The blue of the sky
At the bud of spring
You’re chocolate brown
And rosy red
The dark blue velvet
Of a midnight breeze
You are a star
That burns so bright
And yet a lake
So cool and calm
You're everything, dear,
Don't you see?
And that is why
You're meant for me
For I see you
In shades of gold
But also blue
Of desperate tears
I see you for
All that you are
And all that you
Will soon be too
