Her desperate gaze fell upon him.
'Twas not because she knew him.
'Twas Not she loved him.
But of a curious fire that seared her heart.
Who breathed out smoke to blacken her bones.

What strangers they were.

His reserved look skimmed over her.
'Twas not because he knew nothing of her.
'Twas Not he disliked her.
But of the sick people that roamed near him.
Who's coughs echoed into him,
as egotistical thoughts.

What strangers they stayed.
