Loving you has been the worst
The longer I stare
I start to disappear
Fear keeps coming back
Never being good enough
Kindness in your eyes
Says you’ve been hurt before
I admire your soul
Your will to live
The closer you are
The higher I get
I reach new heights
When you’re by my side
Loving you has been the worst
With this distance between us
For I am not yours
And I never will be
Living in your shadow
Is all I know
Together we fly
But I am on my own
Gone
But not forgotten
