I’ve been stomped on.
I’ve been fallen on.
I’ve been crawled on.
Things have been sprayed on me.
Thing have been dumped on me.
Things have been hurled on me.
I am scratched.
I am bruised.
I am stained.
Why am I underestimated,
misjudged,
miscalculated,
sold short,
underated,
undervalued?
For I am the comfort to your feet.
For I am the support to your rug.
For I am the sacred floor.
