Garbage Children
We were children
Once
That I know
But feet of sinners still shall grow
We live in the trash
Each other we slash
Divided, separated
Incomplete rash
We don't know
What tomorrow will show
Wind blows
Comes snow
Then we will hide, find warmth inside
Our homes we made from plastic containers, shoes and retainers
Banana peels we use to heal
The gashes from the trash
We are lost
We grew up a long time ago
Because children cannot live in the trash
Children together always will clash
The sunset's glow
Together we show
We stand, broken hands
United on top of the trash
There you can see that under the wild
There stands a child
