When I was Five

When I was five

When I was five,
I had a best friend
She always had a shimmery hair clip,
And the dorky-est smile

When I was six,
I moved, and met my BFF
She was loud and funny
With the sweetest family

When I was seven,
I had a new best friend
Who knew I hated bananas,
And always made me giggle at horrible jokes

When I was nine,
My newest friend made me feel at home
Who cut her hair every chance she got
And was just a small chapter in my huge story

When I was ten,
I had a friend who sang of cats,
And never thought about what others thought of her
Until she did.

When I was eleven
I had a best friend
That I thought would be forever
But eventually faded away.

When I was twelve
I finally had a bestie,
He got friend zoned,
Then forever family zoned.

When I was almost thirteen,
I had a amazing friend group,
They made me smile and laugh,
And make me blush so much more than most guys
