Stockshow girls
Stockshow girls
We love our barn hair, and lawn chairs.
We take our heifers to the state fair.
We'll get up at 4am to get a spot on the wash rack.
We can also carry 50 lbs of tack.
We live in our sperrys and square toe boots.
We stay true to our country roots.
We can haul hay and drive a tractor,
and we like to wear ball caps backwards.
We keep up with the guys but we keep it classy.
I guess you can say we're kinda sassy.
From breaking calves we've got blistered hands,
We also love our country bands.
We like to keep Jesus first,
so he can help us overcome the worst.
We know love and loss like no one understands.
We have rough hands and farmer tans.
Sometimes we forget that cows don't have a soul.
We really love our county shows.
We have ribbons on the wall as well in our hair.
We like to have our outfits picked out and ready to wear.
We love our polo hats but also our curls.
At the end of the day we're just stockshow

Showing animals is my passion. My favorite livestock animals are heifers, they all have such different, unique personalities. I hope you will enjoy this poem as much as I have writing it.
