The feeling of loneliness
As empty as space
Like a star slowly fading
With a dissolving passion for life
Groves depressed into my palm
Power hiding behind the curve of metal
Balanced on a hair
Trying
Trying so hard
To delay the inevitable
Something we are all so scared of
But why
A safety that’s safe to no one
Grains asking to be let loose
Because in the end
We are all alone
