In my backyard
I see
brown leaves,
brown trees,
brown grass.
But I look
Beyond all
The imperfections
I see…
He grass almost
As ready for snow as me.
Trees, ready to look
More than just, gray.
I see everything
Ready to
Be covered
In snow.
