Her Concealed Sentiments

Why don’t you share the love I have for you?
I am painting a blank canvas melancholy blue
My body shivers in the cold atmosphere
Hard days and nights cause it’s difficult to sleep
I wish to keep you in my peripheral
Cause I require your entire entity
Our love won’t die and expire ‘cause
With our chemistry, we can physically and mentally
Create a progeny who grows into a miraculous prodigy
If only you acknowledged me…
I love the way you step up to the world
As if it was podium and every speech I
Remember word by word
Imprinted in my soul, I’m like a
Steam locomotive, I keep going
Cause of you, you’re my coal
That keeps on burning, forever yearning
For your brown eyes to meet mine
Cause I am no longer terrified
I make every effort in the world to speak to you
But you can’t even see I got a thing for you
Why don’t you feel the love I have for you?
I am painting a black canvas melancholy blue
You’re noticing my poetry but not my style and grace
I want you to look me in the face and tell me I’m great
Since 6th grade, I’ve been looking for a way to say all these things
I’ve been thinking of
Why don’t you share the love I have for you?
I am painting a blank canvas melancholy blue

His True Feelings Revealed

I see her, unlike the rest, a damsel in distress
Disclosing every feeling, her heart jumping out of her chest
We’re alike in many ways, outgoing but still afraid
The way our veins pop in rage, and how our eyes light up when on a stage
I see her, unlike the rest, a damsel in distress
Disclosing every feeling, her heart jumping out of her chest
My eyes perceive a girl aware of her own beauty
But she does not know that she is truly worth more than any ruby
Diamond, rock, or jewel those tools I use as props
I see her, unlike the rest, a damsel in distress
Disclosing every feeling, her heart jumping out of her chest
When I look into her big beautiful crystals that lay in her eye sockets
I feel my heart drop, and produce a faint scream
Now the teacher’s yelling at me, saying stop the daydream
She has a loud boisterous personality
I see her, unlike the rest, a damsel in distress
Disclosing every feeling, her heart jumping out of her chest
And in all actuality I wish to lay my eyes upon her someday
To reveal my true feelings, in order to discover my fate
I admire her gray matter, the concepts she unveils
Lord, I pray that I don’t fail, this is the truth that I will tell
