We fell back in love that day.
I accidentally made love to you
And called you ‘babe’
And I could feel my heart flourish again.
It was wrong.
And I cried because it was so wrong
How right it felt.
It was like I was back where I belonged.
Later, we realized what we had done.
That we had,
In that moment,
Re-fallen in love with each other,
And we didn’t know
What we were gonna do about it,
But it didn’t matter
Because we were back in love,
And what else could matter besides that?
