Ten More

March 7, 2017
One. One time I ever tried do something I was afraid of.
Two. Two different people in one broken person.
Three. Three of my closest friends fooled.
Four. Four mirrors surround me, showing a different side of me.
Five. Five fingers on each hand to count all the times I've lied.
You've hurt me six times-
And one more time makes seven.
Eight-o-clock marks the time I said I loved you.
Nine-o-clock marks the time you responded, "But I don't."
When it was my tenth time calling you, you hung up and never called back.
It only took a few years for you to decide I wasn't worth ten more.
