I'm Done
I’m done with the fake smiles
I’m done with the hidden tears
I’m done with the hidden pain,
I’m done with the fake laughs
I’m done going through life
These demons weighing me down,
I’m done going through life
Feeling like I’m drowning.
I’m done with the fake smiles,
I’m done with the hidden tears.
I’m done feeling so low, being unnoticed
I’m done with the constant fears
The fears that I’m never good enough
The fears that I’m always a mistake.
I’m done with the lies, done crying
I’m finished with the darkness swallowing me.
I’m over it. You left, I cried. But, it’s over.
You broke my heart, but that’s over.
I found some friends who made me smile again.
I’m ready to laugh and smile.
My life was consumed by darkness, but I smile.
I’m over the tears I’ve cried
I’m over the fake smiles,
And I’m ready to laugh and smile for real. So, thanks.

A breakup made me write the first verse, but the last one is about how I feel now. The middle verse is how I transformed from the broken girl, to the one i am now, thanks to friends.
