I told you how I felt
and I gave you my heart
But you drowned me in a ocean of lies
I reached out
but you let me go and I drifted away
I couldn't breathe
I didn't want to breathe
You weren't gentle
You were a monster
I didn't believe in monsters till I realized they were inside of us
I was a tower and a single breeze
knocked me down.
