I imagine

Sometimes I imagine, I’m a bird.
I could soar through the sky.
I would soar through the world.
I would feel the breeze ripple through my feathers.
Without a care in the world.
I’d be free.
I could sit upon a branch and observe the people.
I would listen to the cries of frustration and the joyful laughs of the children.
I’d watch the pedestrians walk with their mind and not with their feet.
As a bird I would just acknowledge, that’s all I would do.
I wouldn’t be able to grasp or understand the emotions of the people or what they do.
And maybe as bird that would be a great thing.
