Body Shaming

I want to talk about body shaming.
I want to talk about how whether you're a size 10.
A 0. A 22.
I wanna talk to you about how damn beautiful you are.
Don't let a number justify how society needs to look at you.
Don't spend that extra 10 minutes debating on if your stomach looks okay in that shirt,
Or if those pants make your legs look a little bigger than usual.
Wear that shirt, slay in those pants.

I want to talk to you about what types of clothing you should wear
I wanna tell you to wear whatever the hell you want to.
Wear that crop top, wear those shorts or that dress or those shoes.

I want to talk to you about body shaming.
I want to talk to you about how it's not okay.
I want to talk to you about how every single body
of every single gender
is different.

Go wear those cute shorts you bought,
rock that crop top,
walk with confidence.
Because i want to tell you that it won't matter.
It won't matter in 10 years
It won't matter.
It doesn't matter.
Because you, are beautiful.
