You briefly glance

at the mirror.
And when you make eye contact
with yourself.
You look away in shame.
You wash yourself away.
You brush off your looks like sand.
You hide away and
You try to forget how you looked.
But damn girl your beautiful.
Your imperfections mean nothing.
You got it all.
Everything that it
means to be beautiful.
So when you look into mirrors
Don’t look away in shame
Because there is nothing
To be ashamed of.
The mirrors can’t lie.
Neither can i.
