The rain hit the ground running
on this Valentine’s Day.
I always did value Hallmark sentiments.
The joy that came with you worked like weight loss pills:
it wasn’t all that bad really
but now I’m a bobblehead
shaking at the re-sight of you.
My phone vibrates with pictures
full of vibrant couples
their rhetoric love and happiness.
Aspiration for the unknown future
long lasting until the re-occurring thought of you.
Forever engulfed
in emotional misery.
