i am a wild flower
and i crush beneath
your fingertips
as you try and gracefully
touch my skin.
My petals fall one by one
as you kiss my cheek
Yellow dust sticks to your cold nose
when you press it against mine
Why am i being destroyed as my love,
my sunshine
holds onto me.
With both hands you carry me
until my steam breaks
and you are
forced
to let me go.
