My grandma was a gentle person
She always took care of my brother and I.

  I would help her out carrying the sticks and weeds out from her garden.
My grandma rarely cried.
I think it was because she didn’t want us to shed a tear.
My grandma fought pain with an iron fist.
She made sure she would watch after herself so we did not have to.
My grandma used to give me treats coming home from school.
She made sure my brother and I were not tools.
My grandma and I were close and I wish there could be a way to
see her again since we had such a blast together.
