I Am Alone

My hands shake
As my heart beats faster and faster
Tears roll from my eyes
In no particular pattern
My body aches
As I lay here I am scared
Helplessness consumes my whole being
I am left empty
My body drained of feeling
Scratches all over my arms
The skin is peeling
I am alone
