What You Said

The stare was cold,

my face unchanged,
a finger pointed,
never did they look at me the same
A small tear had fallen down,
but my face did not turn to a frown
I said okay and walked away,
out into the hall
I was thrown out,
of this I’m glad,
although still slightly I am mad
I praise the LORD for this chance,
but in my mind still is the teacher’s rant
I’ll stand for what I know is right,
I’ll stand tall and put up a fight
I may be failed,
which I dread,
but follow You is what You said
