You're afraid to let go,
But this is me letting go.
You're afraid you won't feel that way about anyone else again
Darling, you're seventeen.
You said the same things about the last boy who came to stay,
But look what you experienced, again.
Don't be afraid to let go
Spread your passionate heart to others
Spread it to the ones by your side,
To every stranger you will meet,
Spread your love and passion to as much of the world you can meet.

This means a lot to me lately. I wrote this to myself after my last relationship ended. While it was mutual, I was still afraid of not feeling anything for anyone ever again.
