In the field i see his car, at least part of it  There he lay in the

What used to be a little red sports car is now  
          Coffin
            Nothing
       He looked nice dressed sharply
Just laying there      All i ever saw him in was
Red       work clothes
Shiny      
Broken       All he ever did was work
Firefighters roam the field   And now he worked himself till the
Looking
Watching         End
Waiting      
There it was the moment everyone's life  and we never even got to say   
         
    Changed   Goodbye

Right
Then
  Right
   There

I hear them talking “totaled” they say

“Totaled”
“Totaled”
  “Totaled”


The author's comments:

This is a poem about my best friends dad passing away. I wrote about this moment in my life because he was like a father to me and we all miss him very much.
