my mother
who raised me
to know and have worth
raised you too
but you do not heed what she teaches
pt. 2
i tried to show you
how she made us to be
honey sweet soft as sand
used (her) my body to show you
nature and nurture gentle waves and soft petals
pt. 3
you do not learn her lessons
your father has taught you to be
to see empty vessels
(he is) you are sulfur in lungs
crumbling cliffs volcanoes collapsing caves
and you kill me (her) with your touch
