I'll Look to You

By , Eaton, CO

It hurt so much,

so to You I clutched
I felt alone,
no one but You,
though I knew You’d be faithful through and through
Darkness took them,
it had seemed,
and now to look at them and beam
How could I do this
so I just sit and cry and clench my fists
I’ll look to You,
finding hope,
no longer must I sit and mope
I’ll pray to You,
day and night,
for to save them You have the might
Even in my darkest days,
even if near death I lay,
I’ll look to You my God and King,
and to You always I will sing
