Grandma Suzi
Very few times have I seen my dad cry,
But I know it was painful to tell his mother goodbye.
For 14 years,
you had my back,
but now I am standing here,
Everyone in black.
Our family is complicated,
But it is the best.
I know we all have faith for your peaceful rest.
I wish that I could hear your voice,
But I know now that I don’t have a choice.
The memories I have,
I will always keeps near,
But there will always be a place in my heart to wish you were here.
I will never forget your beautiful face,
But where you are now is just not my place.
All I can do right now is cry,
But it’s so hard to tell you,
“Grandma Goodbye”
