Trapped In His Eyes
I wish for the beach,
To hug the warm sand,
Hold hands with the fish,
Have the sun kiss my hand.
To explore the deep ocean,
Find more new and new things.
I wish to dance with the waves.
Although salty,
I love it.
Though it might rain,
I'd be there.
But oh my dear heart
It can't help but to tear.
The ocean is trapped in his eyes,
And I can only stare.
If only he'd look at me.

I wrote this with a theme inspired by William Butler Yeats, because he wrote a lot of poems about love, loss, and longing, and this poem is about someone who wishes to be with someone, and they are in love with them, but they don't even notice them.
