"..though warm as summer it was fresh as spring." (Thomas Hardy) ("Far from the Madding crowd")

Restless volcano breathes crimson, fiery life;

Spitting fireworks of light, bubbling hazy purple smoke.

Rising, seeping onto the brittle surface;

Swirling in a grey, dark heat of ash.

Tornado sweeps the blue lull of sky

As clouds swirl and rainbows die,

White dipping into bluish pink

And stones chattering on morbid ground.

Air takes its youthful breath

Drawing steel, seething rage

Boiling rocks in all its towering might

And engulfing the trees with toxic woodsmoke.

The container

The nature

The force that drives the aimless whoosh of the rumbling seas;

Swish and leap in harmony.

As fish leap to the lip of the rapturous wave

The sea retches bubbles and hollow baubles

A daring dance on air,

Floating high as it may dare.

Night shields a blanket over sleepy stars

Come to life

Oh so golden and so bright;

A magic, a mystery, a muse,

A beauty.
