There was once a time
I was chained to the wall.
I couldn’t stand:
I was anchored on my knees.
I couldn’t help but wonder
Why I was so weak.
Then all of a sudden
Pain, excruciating,
My heart, my head,
I scream.

But not a sound is heard.
