People who are easily pleased are
happier and I am jealous of their
ability to be warm and awake and
delighted.
I am skeptical about everything
and not really enthusiastic about
anything and I have never felt entirely
alive.

The warmth and delight of your
kiss is interrupted by the pain of
the past and the feeling that I
am not my own.
I am overwhelmed by the feeling
that I want to be well
but never can.
