A dark cloud

A dark cloud
has settled over me
cutting my view off
unable to see the sun
I’m waiting
waiting
for it to rain
but it refuses
to wet the ground
I know
once it rains
the clouds will go away
for a time
but the rain
doesn’t fall
and I am stuck
in
the
grey
