I write my poetry in store-bought notebooks

With cheap pink pens

And vanilla paper

I write my poetry with ink

So that way my words can never be erased

I write my poetry with my hands

Taking my abstract observations

And rolling them like dice in my head

Until they land on the right number

I write my poetry

To see what cannot be said

To move my mind in such a manner

To understand what cannot be understood

Because

I have this fairy godmother fantasy

To understand th way the world turns

To come up with a written composition

For very unanswerable question

and repeat it everyday in my mind

Even though

There are some things we aren't meant to understand

Some things that people "have" to accept

But I won't

I won't accept that some things don't have answers

I won't accept that this world should be seen in only 1 dimension

And maybe

Just maybe

Someday my poetry wwill have answered those questions.
