"Only those who dare to fail greatly, can ever dare to achieve greatly."

The wings are sprouting from our backs,
And it's painful, for they must break out
Of the sinew, bones, and tendons we made,
Out of beliefs and notions of who we are,
And we created, hence we must destroy,
To allow ourselves the ability to soar,
Farther, then we ever envisioned before.

It's nicer to think dear, pretty thoughts and keep them in one's heart, like treasures. I don't like to have them laughed at or wondered over.

I like this...it's a simple yet complex idea and the imagery of destroying "the sinew, bones, and tendons we made" is provocative and emphasizes the achievement of flight:)
