The rope is alive
The rope doesn’t like it when I breathe
The rope doesn’t like it when I cry
The rope lives with me underneath
The rope doesn’t like it when I speak
Faster and harder the rope yells at me
Stop being stupid and leave me be
But I’m tired and hungry but the rope doesn’t believe
The rope doesn’t like it when I complain to he
I’m sorry, I am
I’m trying not to be
A stupid little child with too big of dreams
I’ll sit up and be quiet and leave you be
Even when the rope speaks to me
