Life is messy. It's not a line. It's not a series of climaxes. It can't be graphed.

I was there. The little girl watching my every move, looking away when I look at her, ashamed, whishing she could be me, hoping one day she will. I was her so long ago. So that is why I do this. I say good luck and that was beautiful. I say you look so pretty and you are awesome. I know what it's like feeling like you will never be them, but I am. I am the girl that I once looked up to, I am the girl that I wished I could be, I am the girl that I wasted all my childhood dreaming of. And that is why I do this. That is why I smile, I say hi, I wave, because I once was a girl with the biggest dreams in the world, and I remember who killed those dreams and I don't want to be remembered as that.
