Favorite Quote:
Words only come to life when you believe

One, Two, Three, Four
Look, another one hits the floor

Another soldier has fallen
This beautiful angel from heaven

Now lies on the floor, stained in red
The bloody mess
Screams all the words unsaid

The words that everone refused to listen to

She went to friends, they put her down
She went to family and they turned around
And completely betrayed her

So who did she have?

Oh, she had you
But you were the main source of the pain
Weren’t you?
What a shame

You were supposed to be the one there to support
Not the one to report
That you found her lifeless, cold, body on the floor.

This is what happens now
To us, the unloved

We are such lovely, graceful, kindhearted creatures
But we are also the lonliest, most damaged children

Words cut us deeper than any other
We are the Unloved Soldiers

But we are a dying breed
Slowly everyday one of us falls
No one sees our real need

We need acceptance, love, and compassion
But seemingly that’s a bit old-fashioned

Apathy has consumed this generation
That’s why we have teens now
In deprivation

Of the one thing we all need to survive.

Love.

So I suppose we’re all Unloved Soldiers
But it’s up to us if we fall or not
Because there are a few of us who have not forgotten

What it’s like to be an Unloved Soldier.
