Judgement is what I see only

Your hateful and bitter words cut through me and burn my throat

Why must it be this way?

For I am equal

For I am beautiful, no matter my size or appearance

Within this self being is a glorious and caring heart

Why must it be this way?

For I am human

For I bleed the same color you do

How am I any different?

I'm made of flesh and bone, the same as you are

Why must I be judged for the color of my skin or where I'm from

For I am beautiful inside and out.

Why must it be this way?

I am me

No self being can change me

Let me fly free

Let me be the person I was created to be

Let me be me
