So I wait and wait
For you to reply
The pain in my heart
Or the love in your eye.
I wait and wait
For the time you'll see
The passion, the love
The pair we could be.
Yet I wait and wait
For the text to be read
To quite the heart
Or put it to bed.
I'll wait and wait
With the times we share
For the the truth with come out
For the love will be bare.
So I'm done waiting and waiting
As my mind goes for a spin
And the lost of my hope
Because love will never win.
I'm done waiting and waiting
I need a break from the spin
I can see where I stopped
But no where to begin.
