As long we are breathing, we will overcome

I feel the weight of the world on my shoulders
I have a mountain growing up my neck and valleys are dropping into my ears
I am mad at the world and my knuckles match the pacific ocean
I try to keep my temper down because my words will do more damage than my volume ever will
I learned that when I saw that rain grew flowers and not thunder but I still sit here with volcanoes erupting inside my ribcage
I sat in the tub with water beating on my back
I sat in the tub with my hand full of pills and thought about how I can go the same way you did and I found it so disgusting that I need these to keep me on the ground
No matter how many times I play doctor I know can't go a day without these or I'm a foot off a cliff
and tonight I noticed that when I cry my eyes go three shades lighter than normal and I couldn't look at myself in the mirror with your face staring back at me
