I miss you so much
it hurts.
I know you miss me too,
I can see it in your eyes.
But you can’t see the tears in mine.

No matter what I do,
you can’t see me.
Soon you will.

You  said you would never leave me,
you lied.
I know you didn’t mean to,
You used to always tell the truth.

I creep through the halls.
Searching for you,
I need you.

You pass right through me.
I’m not strong enough,
to touch you.
Just a little bit more,
and it will all be fine.

I watch you day and night,
and wait for when,
we can be together again.

It comes time,
at midnight you wake,
and sleepily stumble to the kitchen.
You pour a glass of water,
as you rub the sleep out of your eyes.

I’m right behind you.
I hold the necklace you got me for our anniversary.

I softly cry out your name,
my body shaking with emotion.
I’m ready for what’s to come.

You turn around,
your hand wavers and the glass drops.
Backing against the counter,
tears leak out of your eyes.

I smile, you can finally see me.
You are happy,
so happy,
That we can meet again.
But if you are so happy,
why are you fighting me?

Dear, I just want us to be together again.
Why don’t you love me?

You plead with me to stop,
but the necklace tightens like a noose.
I watch your last breathe escape and step back.

This jewelry, a symbol of our love is
bloodied by our union.
Finally we are one.

Now we can be together forever.
You love me
don’t you?
