Eyes simmer in the floating wreckage
      of broken beats swelling and falling --
nothing but the electronic segue of pulsating synthesizers
a polyphony of stippling colors emulsified in moonquakes
      craters rising and falling with the dust that jumps from fingertips

            as they skip from isomorphic keyboards to

            outstretched knuckles
nothing but a restless nerve impulse darting along syncopated axons
the oscillating timbre of kickdrums zigzagging in space
      a pixel rising and dipping in its spectral envelope
      a fundamental frequency swimming in harmonics and partials:

      this is the Xth sense,
            the acidic buzz which liquefies our capillaries at
            night.
