rain

does
not
fall
from
your
glassed
over,
prist-
ine
eyes.
you don’t
believe
eyes
rain,
that tears
only can
spill
from
lids
that
you
tell
to
open.
but
rain
does
fall
and you
will
cont-
inue
to
cry
when
you
want
to
shut
your
eyes
so
that
all
you
see
is dark.
