gone
lost

Papa’s not coming home

Now we are alone
A singular sorrow
A blanket of pain
How to tell the children
Daddy’s
vanished
vanquished
gone
lost
One bloody bullet
destroys a family
that bloody bullet
will live in infamy

The wars that are happening in the Middle East -caused by a lack of understanding and clear communication of governments- are causing great distress among families across the globe. I felt that the devastation of recieving the news that a family member has been killed needed to be put into words, and this was the result.
