Pretty girl
You are more than you think.
When you were little society was your parents,
Pink and purple was your identity, and playing Barbie was your personality.
Wanting an easy bake oven to improve your thoughts of how a woman is supposed to be
This is all you knew.
Pretty girl
Gaining confidence doesn't equate to gaining popularity.
Going through the struggles of pre-teen and teen years you thought popularity was key to your womanhood
Wondering when you would look like the girl next to you in class
Breasts sitting higher than the desk,
Curves curvier than your cursive writing,
and legs long and thick as she walks
this is all you knew.
Pretty girl
Don't loose your worth.
Wondering why a man does not like you so you research the "qualifications" of being sexy and submit to his needs to capture his look.
Hooked to the demand of being silent as he caresses your beautiful brown skin you think this is love,
but his caress is known to many girls and you wonder what you did wrong.
being submissive to his ignorance is wrong
You have to dominate your life.
Pretty girl
You are strong
Know that the all mighty God lives in you
Don't think your appearance limits your power
for when you have God you are powerful never powerless.
Pretty girl
Know that there is more to you than society impales you to think.
For your identity is your choice and is unlimited
Your personality can be created by the beauty of humbleness and integrity, humor and aggressiveness, grace and knowledge, you determine what's in you.
Pretty girl
you are not pretty, you are so much more than that.
