My stomach is as hollow as
your eyes now
I try to keep it that way
so I'm able to
constantly focus on the dull burning
inside my ribs
this way
I'm able to block you out, blocking me out
I sit beside you and
as you laugh I
rip my fingers through my arms
because you're no longer
laughing with me
